This conference celebrates the diversity of services and supports in Vermont’s recovery centers, recovery residences, and accomplishments throughout our recovery community. It provides opportunities for attendees to share knowledge, wisdom, and network with each other. The Dinner’s central focus is celebrating Stars in our community via our three Recovery Stars Awards. Every year this event is making us a much closer and more knowledgeable community, providing valuable support to staff doing difficult work.

Wendy Jones

Executive Director, Minnesota Alliance of Recovery Community Organizations (MARCO)

Wendy is a person in long-term recovery from substance use disorder and a cofounder of MARCO. From 2018 to 2023 she was Executive Director of Minnesota Recovery Connection (MRC), the states first Recovery Community Organization (established in 2007), where she helped to expand capital MRC’s programs and infrastructure, and advocate for the development of peer-led community-based recovery support services across Minnesota. She joined Minnesota Recovery Connection after a long career with the Minnesota Historical Society, where she was the director of education.

Wendy has a Master of Public Affairs degree from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, is a former Humphrey Policy Fellow, and is the Chair of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Opioids, Substance Use, and Addiction.

Accommodations

Attendees may book accommodations at our host conference hotel, the Killington Grand Resort Hotel, 228 E Mountain Rd, Killington, VT. The hotel guarantees the conference rate for bookings made through September 18th. After that the price may go up. We advise booking as soon as possible.
